If I could give ev er y th ing to be yours, don’t you think I would? But, lover mine, don’t we agree? We shouldn’t have to give an y th ing because love is free. Love is butterflies in Summer, and snow in Winter. It is the crunchy leaves, the sound of the wind in the boughs. It is in the late blooms of the tulips. It is the laughter of the innocent children who don’t know that their innocence isn’t permanent. So, lover mine, I will give you n o t h i n g but love because love is natural, not gifts.

The roses lead me straight to him, but I walked past my love and I ignored his advances. I walked into the icy tundra, my lips blue, my heart frozen, and he followed me there, and yet I ignored his advances. I was alive when you were dead, and when you were alive again, I was still alive. But, I was alive when you were dead. You went through the motions of you, sometimes, when we were one, I think I thought you were alive. And to be true, when you first were alive again, I was dead. But I'm alive now, and you're alive now, and we're alive separately. That's scary, not because we're separate, but because we're alive. I think the reason you were dead is because you picked up on this first: Alive is frightening. Alive means: You can get hurt, or you can fly, or so many other things that you never felt before you can now feel.

Things that make me want to punch stuff.

Misuse of the word ironic. Ironic is like an oxymoron only in sentence form.  It does not mean that you didn't think it would be different.  (Example of how NOT to use "ironic" in a sentence: "I think it's ironic how goats are black and white".) People that sit on both sides of the hallway with their feet sticking out so you have to step over them to get to the bathroom.  Seriously, Drunky McDrunkenson, stop doing that. People who yell "ROSE!" when they could just as easily knock on the door and say, "My dearest Rose, please DO open the door.  I feel I may be annoying the sh*t out of everyone on the floor".
